Daylight Saving Time
Whenever we hit a daylight savings time date – a day where we change the clocks an hour forward or an hour back – we usually post a reminder to change out the batteries in your smoke or carbon monoxide detectors, and we’re doing that again this year.
And like most years, we usually follow that up with a note saying that if you haven’t purchased and installed some sort of smoke detector in your house, now’s as good a time as any to do it. They’re pretty cheap, they’re easy to install, and they’re credited for savings lives – there’s a lot to like about them, all the way around.
Some home improvement or safety ideas can be costly, and some can be difficult, but this one is neither. Change out your batteries, or install a smoke detector this week!
